View Device Command Descriptor Blocks
busTRACE 7.0 includes a large database of known CDBs. This allows busTRACE to fully decode most (if not all) commands and data in/out between Windows and its storage devices.

busTRACE 7.0 provides you the ability to view our CDB database. Simply select your device type of interest, click on the CDB of interest, and view the decoded CDB. You can optionally attach a data buffer (inbound or outbound) to see how the database decodes the command and data in / data out.

Don't remember the format of a Get Event Status Notification CDB for CD/DVD/HD/BD devices? Simply select the option to "View Device Command Descriptor Blocks," click on the CDB, and see how the command is formatted. This tool greatly assists software developers, or anyone who has a need to see how CDBs are formatted without going through the process of looking it up in the associated command specification.
