Using busTRACE 7.0, you can capture I/O activity on Windows PCs connected to your local area network. You can even capture I/O activity across multiple systems simultaneously. In the graphic above, busTRACE 7.0 is remotely connected to two test systems running the busTRACE Remote Server.
busTRACE 7.0 uses TCP/IP to communicate between your Windows PC and the target Windows PC across your LAN. TCP/IP provides the greatest level of compatibility in communicating between the remote busTRACE server and the client busTRACE application. On your remote busTRACE server, all you need to do is run the remote server application.
On your client system, you run the full busTRACE application and have it connect to the remote server. Everything within our user interface responds the same as if you were capturing locally.
You can adjust the capture settings, set trigger points, capture I/O activity, perform I/O analysis, and more. You can do all of this without even leaving your office.
