Installing busTRACE 6.0

Please close all other Windows programs prior to installing busTRACE. Simply plug in your busTRACE Flash Drive into an available USB port. Windows comes pre-installed with Microsoft drivers to support the flash drive (Windows Me and all later operating systems). Open up the newly created drive letter and run the busTRACE setup program you will find there.

Clik on the Next button to begin the installation.

Read the License Agreement and then, if you agree to the terms, select I agree to the terms of this license agreement. If you decline, you will not be allowed to continue with the installation. Click Next.

Select an install type:

Complete Install	Installs all programs and features.
Remote Server Only	Installs only the busTRACE Remote Server. This is useful if you only intend to use this system to capture I/O remotely.

Click Next to continue.

Select the folder where you would like busTRACE to be installed and click Next.

At this point, the busTRACE installer is ready to install busTRACE 6.0. Click Next to have the files copied to the specified folder.

If you have an older version of busTRACE installed on your system, the installer will ask you if you want to uninstall the older version. Since busTRACE 6.0 is a superset of all previous versions of busTRACE, we recommend you allow the uninstall to proceed if prompted.

When the install is complete, you are given the option to immediately launch the busTRACE 6.0 Start Menu.
